As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as appropriate within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment.
Document and report incidents, observations, and any security-related concerns according to established protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed during incidents and emergency response situations.
Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance and address questions or concerns from patients, visitors, and staff.
