As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers an opportunity to be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and putting people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor the location for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings to appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering the premises as required.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including following established protocols for the location.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related incidents and activities during each shift.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, providing assistance and information as needed.
