About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring Security Officers who are motivated to grow into an armed role within six months. This position offers a clear advancement path, allowing you to begin in an unarmed capacity and increase your earnings upon successful completion of armed certification requirements.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• 1+ year of security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Willingness to become armed within 6 months of hire
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening (as permitted by law)
• Ability to complete required training and licensing based on state/local requirements
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures
• Follow site-specific policies and respond to emergency situations as needed
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding areas
