About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a College in Roxbury MA Monday - Friday 3 PM - 11 PM Starting Pay is $21.20 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available Candidate Must be 21+ Years Old As a Security Officer in Roxbury Crossing, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an education setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will support a positive campus experience. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the educational environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and the site.
Assist with crowd management and wayfinding during events or high-traffic periods on campus.
Work collaboratively with campus personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.
