As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Patrol in Redondo Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a professional aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, assisting with visitor processing and maintaining awareness of restricted areas.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel by communicating clearly with supervisors, employees, and/or first responders regarding security-related matters, post orders, and changing conditions.
