As a Security Officer DoD Secret Clearance in Wayne, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns, suspicious activity, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and follow site policies for reporting access issues or security-related violations.
• Support daily operations by maintaining awareness of changing conditions, reporting maintenance or hazard-related observations, and assisting with directions and general information as needed.
