You will greet employees, visitors, and vendors with strong customer service, verify credentials, document activity, and support orderly traffic flow at gates and docks. Through routine patrols, clear communication, and prompt reporting, you will help reduce security-related incidents while working as part of an agile, reliable, and integrity-driven team.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in locations.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at a food and beverage production and/or warehouse location, operate access control systems, issue temporary badges when authorized, and maintain required logs and reports.
  • Support shipping and receiving access by coordinating sign-in and sign-out for deliveries, verifying appointment information when available, and communicating with site contacts regarding dock and yard activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and when appropriate assisting with emergency response activities and notifications.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around entrances, common areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
