Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Medical Company in Boston MA Saturday - Wednesday 11 PM - 7 AM Starting Pay is $23.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available As a Security Officer in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff and visitors with courteous service, clear communication, and timely reporting, while helping maintain orderly operations across the site. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken per site protocol.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including lobbies, corridors, offices, and perimeter areas, noting and reporting unusual activity.
- Support access control by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or authorization where required, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in processes.
- Complete detailed shift reports and incident reports, communicate key information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision, and assist with security-related service requests as assigned.
