As a Security Officer Patrol Detail in Bristol, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer patrolling a dynamic tech location, helping to monitor assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and respond to security-related concerns. In this visible role, you will conduct routine patrols, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and contribute to a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and people first while acting with integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a fast-paced technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures, escalating concerns involving visitors, deliveries, and/or restricted areas as needed.
• Support day-to-day operations by preparing reports, noting maintenance or facility-related concerns, and assisting with security-related inquiries while maintaining professional interactions at all times.
