Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will deliver strong customer service and clear communication while working with site teams, bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset, putting people first, and acting with integrity through teamwork.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with access control by verifying identification, logging visitors and/or contractors, and directing traffic in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Document patrols, inspections, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns in written and/or electronic reports and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
