Job Description As a Security Officer - Museum Gallery in Westlake, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist employees and visitors with a customer-service mindset, document activity, and communicate clearly using computer or tablet tools as needed. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting events per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access control points, identify and/or verify employees, visitors, and vendors, and support visitor processing and badge management in accordance with site requirements.
  • Observe and report unusual conditions, monitor cameras and/or alarm panels as assigned, and complete timely written reports, logs, and other required documentation.
