Job Description As a Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate Patrol in Summit, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with tenants and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activity and/or hazards encountered during patrols.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and supporting visitor management procedures.
Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
