About The Position
Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Distribution Facility in Boston MA Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 3 AM - 11 AM Starting Pay is $23.31 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available As a Security Officer in East Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts while delivering helpful customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify identification and/or shipping documentation as required by post orders, and direct visitors and deliveries to appropriate areas.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and property damage, and request additional assistance when needed.
- Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and daily activity, and communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
