As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol production and warehouse areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to situations, document observations, and communicate clearly with onsite teams while delivering customer service with integrity. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify identification and/or authorization for employees, contractors, and delivery drivers; document entries, exits, and deliveries per site requirements.
- Complete detailed reports on patrol findings, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
