Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A NYS Security Guard License is required for this position as well as the ability to obtain a license with the NYS Gaming Commission.
• We offer training needed to obtain the Security Guard License and our internal HR department will initiate your license with the Gaming Commission.
• Fees incurred as a result of licensing are eligible for reimbursement following 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Escorts and observes Customers and Associates to ensure their safety and protection
• Identifies potential safety hazards and reports same to the appropriate individual for proper resolution.
• Becomes familiar with hazardous materials used on property, and all applicable laws, rules and regulations governing same.
• Acts as a Dispatcher during emergency situations, coordinating solutions and informing outside agencies of any unusual or suspicious activity on property.
• Operates company vehicles as directed.
• Ensures safe transportation of company moneys
• Assists in the opening and closing of the gaming floor.
• Delivers excellent service and maintains appropriate communication with both internal and external guests.
