As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a transportation-focused location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with travelers and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR or first aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a transportation environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure atmosphere for travelers and staff.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, observing for any unusual activity and reporting concerns promptly to appropriate personnel.
  • Support access control procedures, verifying credentials as required by site-specific protocols.
  • Assist in maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and/or security-related incidents on the property.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
