As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a transportation-focused location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with travelers and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR or first aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a transportation environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure atmosphere for travelers and staff.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entry and exit points, observing for any unusual activity and reporting concerns promptly to appropriate personnel.
Support access control procedures, verifying credentials as required by site-specific protocols.
Assist in maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and/or security-related incidents on the property.
Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
