Requirements
- Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment
- Controls traffic by directing drivers
- Responds to codes within the hospital. Codes range from fire, security assistance and possible active shooter
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities
- Investigates security breaches, incidents and other alarming behavior
