The role involves a fixed-shift commitment (Anchor Shifts) for a designated site and weekly shift, requiring a six-month commitment. Additionally, employees can pick up extra shifts through a scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites, allowing for a flexible schedule that can scale up to 40 hours per week or back when needed. This position is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule.

Requirements

Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting details according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, stock areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor guest, employee, and vendor activity to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or disruptions while reporting concerns to site leadership.
Assist with access control, opening and closing procedures, and/or crowd management during busy shopping periods, special events, and high-traffic hours.
