Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
• Alarm panel experience is preferred
• CPR certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and support orderly entry and exit procedures for staff, guests, and deliveries.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal team members while maintaining professional presence and following post orders during routine operations and unusual events.
