About The Position

The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is seeking a Hotel Security Officer to join our Security team. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property. You will monitor hotel premises, respond to incidents, enforce policies, and provide exceptional guest service while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements

  • The qualified candidate will possess a passion for flawless service and the highest level of integrity and work ethic.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Basic computer skills are required, including the ability to use email, incident reporting software, and CCTV monitoring systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures (fire, medical, evacuation).
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and respond quickly to incidents.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid security license or certification (if required by local/state regulations).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol hotel grounds, guest floors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, reporting any suspicious activity or safety hazards.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical situations, fire alarms, security breaches, and guest concerns.
  • Document and report all incidents accurately and in a timely manner using hotel security software.
  • Assist with crowd control during hotel events and maintain a visible presence in public areas.
  • Support hotel staff and management in managing disruptive behavior and ensuring compliance with hotel policies.
  • Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests, including directions, information, or support during emergencies.
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
  • Uphold the hotel's high standards of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
