Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to control access, document security-related activities, and report incidents according to site protocols.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and addressing routine issues in a courteous manner consistent with Allied Universal standards.
