As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and patients. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing outstanding customer service. Your role is essential in maintaining a welcoming and secure environment, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.
Requirements
- Hospital employees must be vaccinated as required by hospital policy.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a healthcare location.
- Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and/or credentials of visitors, patients, and staff.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Assist with the management of visitor and vendor logs as required by site policies.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, patients, and emergency responders as needed.
- Support Allied Universal in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive front desk presence.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
- Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following site-specific procedures.
