Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Site - Full Time in Rolling Meadows, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and attentive service. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the financial institution location to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as required to support security-related operations and emergency response.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while performing patrols and other assigned duties within the financial institution environment.
