About The Position

This Security Officer Per Diem position at Huntington Health is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all individuals on the hospital premises. This involves conducting patrols, responding to calls, documenting activities, and investigating incidents to make recommendations. The role requires flexibility in hours, including off-shifts. Requirements

• Current California (CA) driver’s license
• Guard Card certifications
• Flexibility of hours (off shifts)
• High school diploma or GED
• Six months of experience in Security or related field
• Must be insurable under Huntington's liability insurance
• Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
• In house 8 hour AVADE training to be completed within the first month of hire and renewed annually as part of an annual 40 hour Security Officer training program
• Initial and annual trauma “Stop the Bleed” training within one month of hire
• Read, write, speak English fluently
• Basic computer knowledge, to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, and other hospital related programs
• Basic report writing skills
