As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor assistance. You will document observations, report concerns, and communicate clearly with on-site teams, demonstrating Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, a caring culture, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response guidelines as directed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and notifying site contacts and/or public responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, labs, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, policy concerns, and/or maintenance issues.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization while supporting a professional lobby and campus experience.
  • Complete required reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol findings, using site systems and/or mobile reporting tools as assigned.
