As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support employees and visitors through strong customer service and clear communication while documenting observations and reporting concerns. Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site management and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including perimeter checks, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, lobbies, and/or controlled access points, verifying identification and directing visitors according to site procedures.
Observe security-related video systems, alarms, and/or access control activity as assigned, and communicate suspicious or irregular activity to the appropriate contacts.
Document security-related activities, patrol findings, incidents, and/or policy violations in written reports and logs.
Support employee, visitor, and/or vendor movement within permitted areas, providing directions and assistance while maintaining security-related awareness.
Assist with emergency situations such as medical events, fire alarms, severe weather, and/or facility disruptions by following site procedures and coordinating with responders.
Perform security-related checks of doors, gates, elevators, and/or restricted areas to help to identify unsecured points and report maintenance or access issues.
Maintain a professional presence and appearance, using clear communication to de-escalate conflicts and/or address concerns in accordance with site policies.
