As a Front Desk Security Officer in a retail location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping to monitor access, greet visitors, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, and documenting arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Support day-to-day front desk operations by answering phones, directing guests, maintaining visitor logs, and reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
