As a Security Officer Welcome Center Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location where you will serve as the front desk presence, greeting visitors, managing access activity, and responding to security-related concerns with strong communication and professionalism. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor reception duties, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting employees, visitors, and vendors, reviewing credentials, issuing visitor passes, and reporting unusual activity or access concerns.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and support front desk operations in a courteous, professional, and problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations by maintaining awareness of lobby activity, observing entry points, and following post orders for financial institution locations.
