As an Allied Universal Officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and provide customer-focused service through clear communication with onsite teams. Requirements

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders at a technology-focused location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, building interiors, and exterior perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification, badges, and/or visitor credentials, directing individuals to the appropriate check-in process and documenting access as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site representatives and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete timely reports and logs of patrols, observations, and incidents, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
