As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and/or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with onsite teams, and deliver customer service with professionalism. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production and/or storage areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badge issuance per site policy, and directing foot and vehicle traffic as needed.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and complete detailed reports for hazards, spills, suspicious activity, and/or other site issues observed during the shift.
