As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced transportation and logistics location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support site procedures, respond to requests, and deliver standout customer service and communication to employees and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating key details to site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and shipping and receiving areas by observing activity, verifying authorization when required, and reporting suspicious or unusual conditions through the proper channels.
• Complete timely security-related reports and logs, including incident documentation, patrol activity, and observations, and turn in required paperwork per site policy.
