You will conduct routine patrols and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Control access for employees, contractors, and visitors by verifying identification, managing entry and exit points, and maintaining visitor and/or vehicle logs per site guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal management as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, yard, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor cameras and alarm systems where assigned, report irregular conditions, and support shipping and receiving operations by directing visitors to the correct check-in and/or staging areas.
