About The Position

As a Security Officer - Weekday Patrol Driver - Tech in Santa Clara, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic tech and media location. You will remain visible and approachable, providing outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you navigate and monitor assigned areas. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business premises and its perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as directed by Allied Universal and/or site management.
