About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tech Patrol Driver in Clarksville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading technology, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, checking for proper identification and reporting any unusual activity as needed.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters and incidents.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Assist with access control and visitor management processes as required by the location.
Remain alert and observant to help to deter potential disruptions or security-related issues in the tech, media, and telecom environment.
