About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tech Patrol Driver in Clarksville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading technology, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, checking for proper identification and reporting any unusual activity as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters and incidents.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Assist with access control and visitor management processes as required by the location.
  • Remain alert and observant to help to deter potential disruptions or security-related issues in the tech, media, and telecom environment.
