As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for any irregularities.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying identification as required by site procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and site staff to address security-related issues and provide a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and completely in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
