As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, engage with staff and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
- Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or site needs.
- Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policy.
- Assist with emergency response activities, such as evacuations or medical situations, following site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
