As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and respond to situations as they arise. You will interact with tenants and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences, to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
- Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and/or site management.
- Complete required reports and documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
