About The Position
As a Security Officer Warehouse Rover in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or vehicles, helping to support site rules, credential checks, and visitor management procedures.
- Support daily operations by reporting hazards, access issues, and/or policy violations, and by assisting with routine security-related tasks during shifts that may vary by location.
