Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control activities, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Posses a guard card.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas at a utilities location to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that need attention.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized persons from restricted or controlled areas.
• Support site operations by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, contractors, and/or first responders during routine activities and unusual events.
