Job Description As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in Oceanside, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, greet team members and visitors with strong customer service, and communicate observations with professionalism. Requirements

• Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines for security-related operations at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the building, loading dock areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access to the property by monitoring entry and exit points, checking identification and/or shipping documentation as directed, and directing visitors and drivers to the appropriate area.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and request additional support from site management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed reports and maintain activity logs, including patrol observations, access activity, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.
