As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to a positive experience for all. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Screen individuals entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks.
Communicate and collaborate with team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns.
Complete necessary reports and documentation related to security-related activities and incidents.
