As a Screener in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 05:30 AM - 05:30 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Assist with access control and visitor screening to help to deter unauthorized entry to the premises.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support the implementation of security-related policies and procedures specific to a technology, media, or telecommunications environment.
