As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to support a welcoming atmosphere. By delivering exceptional customer service and demonstrating strong communication skills, you will play a key role in upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and reliability. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises as part of access control procedures.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with emergency response activities as required by site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.
