About The Position

As a Security Officer - Visitor Screening in Rialto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support smooth operations by screening personnel and visitors, confirming credentials, monitoring access points, and documenting activity. You will stay highly visible, conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, respond to incidents with clear communication, and provide customer service to team members and drivers. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site employees, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen inbound and outbound personnel, visitors, and vendors by verifying identification, checking authorization, issuing badges, and directing individuals to the proper location.
  • Conduct screening of bags, parcels, and/or other items per site procedures; report prohibited items and policy violations to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle traffic at gates and dock areas by confirming documentation, coordinating driver check-in, and maintaining required logs and reports.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading docks, and the perimeter as directed.
