As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage entry points, and monitor activity for security-related concerns. You will stay visible, communicate clearly, and document incidents as needed while supporting a smooth daily operation. Requirements

• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing and/or checking badges, processing visitor sign-in and sign-out, and directing individuals to approved areas.
• Screen and log incoming and outgoing deliveries and vehicles by checking shipping documentation, coordinating with onsite contacts, and reporting irregularities per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and escalating concerns through the proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking lots, docks, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
