You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, support access control and badging, and deliver professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 21+ years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes as directed, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and directing arrivals to the proper contact.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including summoning appropriate resources and assisting with evacuations and/or shelter instructions when required.
Complete timely reports and logs such as patrol activity, incidents, and key control, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
