As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to an access control post in an automotive environment, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication, contributing to a secure environment for all. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative setting.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as specified by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors only.
Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
Provide customer service by addressing questions and/or concerns from employees, visitors, and contractors in a professional manner.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at access points in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around access-controlled areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report any observed irregularities, including property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to address security-related needs and/or requests as directed.
