Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
CPR and first aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the auto manufacturing location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities within the facility.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and client staff to support a secure and orderly environment at the auto manufacturing location.
