Job Description As a Security Officer - Vehicle Driver Clearance Required in Roy, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you may operate a company or client vehicle while conducting patrols and responding to calls for service. You will deliver strong customer service, clear communication, and teamwork while representing Allied Universal with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years is required.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to facility personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with notifications and documenting events per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter, monitoring for unusual conditions and reporting concerns to site leadership.
  • Control access by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials when directed, and helping to maintain compliance with restricted area requirements.
  • Complete detailed patrol logs and incident reports, communicate updates to supervisors and/or client representatives, and support security-related audits and inspections as assigned.
