About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Roy, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge activity while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or authorization, assisting with visitor processing, and directing traffic flow as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuation, medical response coordination, and communications with site contacts and/or public responders when directed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports, and promptly escalate unusual conditions, policy violations, and equipment issues through the established chain of command.
